Zip Code Report (zipcodereport.com) is operated by ALLTEK LLC (“Zip Code Report”, “we”). These Terms of Use govern your use of this website and your purchase of any report. By using the site — and, in particular, by purchasing a report — you agree to these Terms.
1. What the service is
Zip Code Report compiles neighborhood information for US ZIP codes from public and licensed third-party sources into a single report. Reports are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute real estate, financial, investment, or legal advice.
2. Permitted use of the data
Zip Code Report is not a consumer reporting agency, and reports are not “consumer reports” under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use report data to make decisions about any person's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing (including tenant screening), or for any other purpose regulated by the FCRA, nor in any way that violates the Fair Housing Act or other anti-discrimination laws.
3. Data accuracy
Report data is aggregated from sources such as the US Census Bureau, FBI, BLS, HUD, NCES and EPA, and may contain inaccuracies, gaps, or delays inherited from those sources. Every value is labeled with its source and an “as of” date. ZIP boundaries are approximated using Census ZCTA geography, and crime statistics are estimates based on partial agency reporting coverage, disclosed in each report. The service and all data are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Always verify critical information independently before acting on it.
4. Purchases
Paid reports are one-time purchases processed by Stripe through guest checkout — no account is created. The price is shown at checkout; taxes may apply depending on your location. A purchased report is a snapshot of the data as of the purchase date, with one free data refresh available within 90 days. Access is delivered to the email address you provide at checkout via a private link that remains valid for 12 months. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, including the refund policy below.
5. Refunds
Every one-time report purchase comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, email support@zipcodereport.com within 7 days of your purchase and include:
- the email address you used at checkout,
- the ZIP code of the purchased report, and
- the purchase date or the receipt number from your Stripe confirmation email.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days. After the 7-day window, all purchases are final and non-refundable. When a refund is issued — or a payment is disputed or charged back — access to the purchased report is deactivated.
6. Acceptable use
Reports are licensed for your personal use or your organization's internal business use. You may not scrape the site or extract data in bulk by automated means; resell, republish, or redistribute reports or the underlying data; or circumvent access controls or the boundary between free and paid content.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALLTEK LLC's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on report data, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this site. Changes to the refund policy do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Privacy
What we collect, why, and who else sees it is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: a purchase takes only your email address, payment details go to Stripe and never to us, we send transactional email only, and there are no advertising or tracking scripts on the site.
